Bloober Team is bringing horror to gamescom with two of its most anticipated upcoming projects. At this year's show in Cologne, players will be among the first to go hands-on with Cronos: Lazarus and step inside a one-of-a-kind immersive horror experience inspired by SAW: Genesis. Meanwhile, members of the press will get exclusive hands-on access to both titles in the dedicated business area.
Announced during Summer Game Fest, SAW: Genesis is a 3v1 asymmetrical multiplayer horror game in which three Accused are forced to work together under intense pressure to escape a deadly maze of traps orchestrated by a single Judge. The title is developed by Broken Mirror Games and Anshar Studios in collaboration with Lionsgate and published by Bloober Team. For the first time following its closed alpha playtest phase, media and content creators will have the opportunity to experience SAW: Genesis hands-on during the Gamescom business days at Hall 2.2, Booth C26.
On the consumer show floor, fans will be able to step into a dedicated SAW: Genesis experience featuring an immersive themed corridor inspired by the game's unsettling atmosphere, complete with live cosplayers and terrifying interactive scares designed to bring the world of SAW: Genesis to life.
For fans of Cronos: The New Dawn, Bloober Team’s latest original IP, Cronos: Lazarus offers a deeper look into the universe of the game by exploring the story of the Warden, a character who captivated many players in the original installment. The DLC introduces new weapons, abilities, and terrifying new threats, while placing a stronger emphasis on action-oriented gameplay without compromising the intense horror atmosphere.
Cronos: Lazarus will be playable during Gamescom, with hands-on sessions available in the business area at Hall 2.2, Booth C26, as well as in the consumer area at Hall 10.1, Booth C40/D41.
