Bloober Team and Epic Games are unleashing a chilling new collaboration as The Traveler, the protagonist of Cronos: The New Dawn, steps into Fortnite. From the Polish masters of horror behind the SILENT HILL 2 remake and Layers of Fear, Cronos: The New Dawn is an ambitious survival horror experience, now merging with Fortnite’s dynamic world. Prepare for darkness, mystery, and a crossover unlike anything you’ve seen before.
Cronos: The New Dawn takes players on a journey to a post-apocalyptic 1980s Kraków, Poland, to the district of New Dawn, inspired by the real-life Nowa Huta. The brutalist architecture fractured by the time anomalies creating a chilling experience where time itself has fractured the environment. Player’s step into the role of a Traveler, an agent sent by mysterious Collective to extract survivors’ essence for a greater purpose. During their pursuit in the retro-futuristic landscapes to soon discover that crumbling buildings are the least of worries with lethal creatures lurking at every corner. Blending atmospheric tension with intense third-person combat, the game combines classic survival horror with agile tactical gameplay, forcing players to think carefully about every step and every decision they make.
The Traveler Outfit in Fortnite carries all her characteristic features from Cronos: The New Dawn, including her helmet, armor and gun, the Sword MK-1615. The Outfit is now available in the Fortnite Shop, but players who purchase Cronos: The New Dawn via the Epic Games Store after April 21st will receive the Outfit for free.
